Prominent Tea Party group The American Majority has called for Michele Bachmann to drop out of the presidential race. It has cited the concern that she’s all about herself and that she is a “back-bencher” Congresswoman.
This is the first time that a Tea Party group has turned on one of its own. Bachmann has been seen as the Tea Party candidate ever since she thrust herself onto the national stage. However, it’s important to remember that this call to drop out will not hurt her.
